أعلنت لجنة تحكيم The Game Awards 2023 عن قائمة ترشيحات جوائز العام، التي شهدت منافسة قوية بين مجموعة من ألعاب الفيديو البارزة، الصادرة خلال 2023.
وتصدَّرت لعبتا "Alan Wake 2" و"Baldur’s Gate 3" القائمة بثمانية ترشيحات لكل منهما، وتنوعت الترشيحات بين جوائز مختلفة، مثل لعبة العام، وأفضل إخراج، وأفضل قصة، وغيرها من الفئات المهمة.
وحصلت لعبة "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2" على 7 ترشيحات، بما في ذلك فئة لعبة العام.
أما "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom"، فحصلت على 5 ترشيحات، على غرار لعبة Super Mario Bros. Wonder. فيما حصلت لعبة "Starfield"، وهي حصرية "Xbox"، على ترشيح واحد.
